Trekking is not just about walking. It is also exploring the environment, feeling the cold air of nature, making snowballs, and throwing them at our friends. With the spectacular scenery of the mountains and the towering coniferous trees, one can get a full sense of nature.
So there are a few tips for trekking mentioned below-
As well as making long trips, you should also practice leg-based cardio in your daily routine. Cycling is great for building muscle in your legs, but soccer, squash, and swimming are also great. If you are very focused on exercise, combine your gym classes or cycling classes with squats and lungs (the more weight, the better).
Climbing stairs is also good for building calves and quad, so take the stairs instead of the elevator or escalator when you are at work or the train station.
You have been doing it since you were one year old, but it is very important to monitor how you are doing and whether you are doing it right. Be sure to hit the ground with your heel first, then roll over on your toe, which will move you to the next step (this will help reduce the risk of shin strain and tendon tension). Walk with your head up, your eyes forward, and your shoulders level.
If you are traveling, you are less likely to be traveling on footpaths and highways, so avoid training only on highways. Instead, try to train in areas that will be like trails on the trip. You must prepare your feet, ankles, and knees for the stress they will experience during the journey.
It is also unlikely that you will find exactly ten days of ideal weather for your trip, so prepare for all conditions by traveling in cold, windy, rainy, warm, humid places
When you are trekking, the walking poles will be your two biggest new friends. They remove the pressure on your knees when you stand up, and they give you extra support as you climb. Install poles during your training sessions so that you get used to walking with them so that you do not face any problems in your Bhrigu Lake Trekking.
First things first, develop the habit of exercising and walking for at least half an hour daily, before starting your trekking journey. Walking will not only help in increasing stamina but will also help control breathing. Just make sure to at a healthy diet and avoid junk food and fast food and drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Also, prepare a checklist for the last minute.
