Kullu Manali Seasonal Guide Trip

Kullu Manali is a tourist-favorite place in northern India. People come here on vacations, for honeymoons, and some even come for a destination wedding. The valley is also blessed with spiritual energies from the temples and the abodes of numerous sages, popular in Hindu mythology, those who used to meditate here. To summarize it, there is no best time to visit Manali. The place never loses its charm, and that’s what keeps this scenic valley crowded all around the year. But every season does have its own USPs and attractions, that as a tourist, you should take into account. This personal touch will help you in planning family trips or choosing honeymoon timings or circuit tours. So here we present to you the trip guide and special notes on every season in Kullu Manali, that you should keep in mind while planning your tour.

•Summers (April to June):

Summer season is probably the most crowded season in Manali. As the temperature rises in plains, making it nearly unbearable, people come to hill stations for some retreat in huge numbers. The traffic will be a problem if you plan for a summer trip there. On the bright side, you could access routes and places that close off due to heavy snowfall like Rohtang Pass, Keylong, the Kaza-Spiti circuit from Kullu-Manali, etc. It is also the best time to do activities like rafting, camping, and trekking as well.

•Monsoon (July to August):

Monsoon brings the much-needed relief as the crowd also raises the temperature in the valley. The tourist movement is not as much as in summer here because the rain interrupts the above-mentioned activities. However, the river and waterfalls go to being at their best, and people often come at this time of the year just to enjoy them.

•Autumn (September):

Autumn is the season for people who place tranquility and personal place in priority. The fall season sees the least tourism all year round in the valley. It is a brief time that can be used for bird watching or a quiet outing. Autumn does not last for much time as the temperature starts to go down, and winters get a foothold at the end of the month.

•Winters (October to February):

Winters end the quench of tourism in the valley as masses come from around the country to witness the first snowfall of the year. It spans for four to five months, making it the longest traversing season in the valley. The whole place gets covered with snow, and places like Solang Valley witness a humongous crowd of people due to winter activities like skiing. To escape out of the cold environment, people go to natural hot spring in the near town of Vashisht. Proper boots and jackets are a must for this season. Travelling with your own vehicle might be troublesome due to black ice.

•Spring (March):

Spring makes the month of March perfect for a honeymoon. The snowfall is replaced with gentle cold breezes, and flowers bloom around the valley, making it a haven for newlywed couples. Partially snow-clad peaks make a good background for some clicks, and the whole place oozes romantic energy into the environment. The spiritual energy around the valley is also at its peak and the lone travelers come from all around the country to camp or trek the trails here.

This was your guide for Kullu Manali as per the seasons. The valley is a haven for tourists, and every time of the year presents a good opportunity. Be it snow-clad peaks and routes or the lush green forests all around, you can always go for Kullu Manali for a fun outing.
